BHI is a full service commercial general contracting company. The company was established over 60 years ago in the Sioux Falls area and has grown to a regional construction company operating in the five state area. Having the ability to create designs in-house, BHI can handle your project from conceptual drawings to the certificate of occupancy adding value and streamlining timelines. Our projects include corporate, institutional, federal, state, family, retail, resorts, and medical facilities.
As Commercial General Contractors, BHI has completed a wide range of products which include a mix of tenant finishes, industrial, institutional, state, federal , and retail.

The completion of the VA Infusion Center as well as the Same Day Surgery Center has been a source of pride for our company to know we have played a small part in supporting our veterans. BHI is incorporated in the State of South Dakota, and has maintained a full level of the requisite insurance throughout its history. Our company has built a solid reputation in the commercial construction arena in the five state area and has maintained that reputation by delivering quality construction at reasonable prices.
BHI provides a variety of services and experiences to accommodate all of our clients needs. Just as every project is different so are the needs and the abilities of our customers. BHI prides itself on its ability to take a project from its very inception to project completion. We can do as much or as little of a project as needed.
